We worked really hard last weekend. REALLY hard. It was a very hot and humid weekend. The unrelenting sun offset only by periods of heavy storms. Nevertheless, we scrubbed the entire exterior of the cottage, including the gutters we cleaned out the weekend before. And we did it with long-handled scrub brushes – not a powerwasher for fear we’d damage the siding. Phew. That was a workout. I’ll confess to more than a few “accidental” slips with the garden hose when rising a section off. Heart-stoppingly cold at first, but man, it felt good when we were overheated.
