Hello! Welcome to our special, interactive edition of The Clare and Chrissy Show. Other than any additional inches on our hips and the decorations that we might have not yet put away, Halloween is now a memory and the snowball of Holiday celebrations has started rolling. We’re counting on you to be the key ingredient in making this a special and interactive post, so please, grab your coffee and get ready, set and go!
Clare: Before we get caught up in the chaos and stress the end of the year always seems to bring, Chrissy and I would like to pause and reflect on a few special items that have brought us particular joy in the past year. (Image of Bunnies do Scream copyright by Misterlingo)
Chrissy: And share a few of our more humorous holiday happenings.
As promised, today is my day during the Fang-tastic Books Michigan Author Celebration. I’m touching briefly on things that are “Purely Michigan”, (for those in the know – the state’s new advertising slogan) and offering a giveway. Come say Hi, I’d love to see you.

What do they have in common? A reason to celebrate. Yes, it’s May 5th! Time for a margarita I do believe.
And, today is also the release day for Clare London’s New Novella Touch. Click on the link to read the description of this latest installment of hot and sultry from Ms. London.
Summary: Angry and frustrated with his chronic illness, Vincent Poulsen moves into an old lighthouse to live out the few days he has left. After a dangerous collapse, he meets the ghostly Captain Cason, who shares stories of his distant past. In the process, Vincent stumbles over the tragedy that binds the captain to the lighthouse and his haunted memories. Then fate offers them in death a chance to make right what they couldn’t in life….
Please note: This story was originally released in the Desire Beyond Death Anthology. This novella has been re-edited and re-released as a stand alone novella.

January 31st – Dreamspinner Authors continue to make themselves heard. Join us at the Talking Two Lips Yahoo Group for another day of smoking hot, sultry excerpts. And fun. Don’t forget the fun. (It’s not all about the smoking hot sultry).
I was going to wait until Wednesday when I do all the other updates to post this, but what the heck. Drive Me Home has received 5 Divas and a Recommended Read from Dark Diva Reviews.
You can read the entire review here, but how about an excerpt?
“After reading and reviewing Fair Winds, the first book I read by this very talented author, I was sure that this was going to be an excellent read. But with Drive Me Home, Ms. Munder has reached a whole new plateau and I’m still feeling somewhat stunned. Low-key and subtle are two elements that really mark this book, and I’m firmly hooked on Chrissy Munder’s writing.”
It’s always a pleasure to hear a reader enjoyed a story.
Yes, so it started back in October – it’s still my favorite time of the year. I enjoy the delight of the color shows as the leaves change and fall, the smells that travel on the crisp air, the peace that fills me when hiking through the empty countryside. The desserts I know are to come. Cinnamon, spice and everything that comes along with friends and family time spent together. (the crazy, heaven help me the crazy).
It’s been a strange last half of the year. I could tell you – but then I’d have to kill you. *grin*. Actually, it might just bore you to tears. Highlights? Finding out the beast now weighs 19 lbs. No wonder my lap gets tired. He also ate a butt-load of tinsel (long story re: the dude that came and measured for carpets there)and spent quality time at the vet – but is okay now. Spamming everyone on Twitter *face palm*. I am so sorry about that. Still not sure why that happened or how – just hoping the fix is taking hold otherwise I’ll have to delete that account.
Now – wait. Before you string me up. October is definitely past the halfway point and that means the Holidays are looming.
Before you get all caught up and hyperventilate at the thought of family obligations and gifts you haven’t yet bought – check out my Holiday Page at the GLBT Bookshelf for a few helpful ideas.

Season’s Greetings
By Chrissy Munder
Roses are red. Violets are blue. If I ever got my hands on your fine ass, oh baby, the things I would do.
Russ Manners writes greeting cards for a living, except Christmas is fast approaching, there’s no snow, and he’s fallen behind on his big Easter Card project. He’s blaming the new guy, Ian Fiorillo, because ever since Ian was hired, Russ spends all his time writing bad Valentine rhymes to Ian’s best asset. What Russ doesn’t realize is that Ian would love to help him appreciate the wonders of Christmas in Florida.
